How to recognise a Charlatan... or bad Psychic Reader

We hear some pretty horrendous stories from our clients recounting their bad experiences with so called “psychics and clairvoyants”. We know from experience that there exists the type of reader who will be only too ready to exploit a caller’s vulnerability.

SO DON’T BECOME A VICTIM – DISCOVER HOW TO SPOT A CHARLATAN READER

  1. Beware of readers who make false promises – these people might simply be out to get your money. If a reader promises 100% that they are able to reunite lovers or give you lucky numbers guaranteed to win the National lottery, avoid them – put the phone down. Avoid readers who promise to cast spells that guarantee that you will be rich or bring a lover back. These readers will simply keep you talking by promising you the earth to retain your interest in what they are saying – and they are very clever and convincing!
  2. Beware of obscurity. Charlatan readers will make statements that could, in theory, apply to anyone “Like:- “I see you have lost something recently” or “I see you have broken something recently” or “I see you have had a minor upset recently ” or “I see you’ve had a relationship difficulty” and so on. Sounds as if the reader has really tuned into you but in reality, they haven’t!

  3. Beware of readers who fish for clues. Some examples:
“Do you know someone called Paul/Peter/Graham/Keith?”
“Has someone passed over to the other side recently?”
“Are you having a relationship problem?”
“I feel that an elderly relative who has passed over is trying to tell you something. Who might that be?”
“Have you lost a possession that’s important to you recently?”
All the reader is trying to do is extract as much information. The best course of action is not to reply – remain silent! That will fox the reader!

  4. Beware of scare tactics. Watch out for readers who predict death, illness or tragedy. They will scare you and, because you are frightened, you will keep talking simply to find out more and look for some kind of reassurance. This can sometimes have a traumatic and serious effect on the caller.

  5. Peanuts and monkeys. Consider carefully how much “a minute” you are being charged. It is our experience that professional and genuine readers are paid (and can command) a fair fee for their services, compared with those who might possibly have no skills nor ability, who are prepared to work for peanuts. Our experience is that the more you pay for your reading, the greater your chances of receiving a genuine and satisfying reading by a genuine psychic/clairvoyant reader. Cheap readings could mean that you are having reading with someone who is working for peanuts, has no psychic ability, but has possibly been trained to respond to certain “key words” that you might find convincing, but will retain your interest and keep you talking.

It is so easy to fall for Charlatan readers because they are good at what they do, and that is retain your interest by using every trick in the book - and they know all the tricks!
