August is a time when time itself seems to be running out.
Or at least things could get a lot more complicated by around
the 20th, when Mercury makes one of its infamous retrograde
turnarounds. More promisingly, the usually sombre planet Saturn
is in good form, providing some sort of basic support system.
Every step forward is therefore a true step to long term progress,
despite any short term confusion. Getting agreement from others
may slow things down, but could be vital to overall success.
ARIES (March 22nd - April 20th)
 Aries
is sometimes accused of being selfish, but, with someone else
almost always in the spotlight or craving your attention in
August, there may be little chance of your needs getting to
the front of the queue. Therefore, be ready to give, give,
give and remember that your time will come – most likely
around the 26th when you can magnetise a payback.

TAURUS (April 21st - May 21st)
 Several
situations threaten to keep you on a treadmill over the coming
weeks, so be wary of overloading yourself too much early on.
Practising saying no will be either easier or harder around
the 8th, depending on whether you give yourself time and space
to answer. A friendship that was floundering could be revitalised
this month so be ready to offer and accept invitations.

GEMINI (May 22nd - June 23rd)
 There
is a good chance you will be revisiting old ground once again
this month. Even though you thought that a problem or issue
was dealt with, this appears to be not the case. Do bear in
mind, however, that progress does not always go in a straight
or obvious path. This particular spate of contact could therefore
be about a new stage of development.

 The
tenacious nature of your sign means that when you get hold
of a good idea you don’t let it go easily. It may be
no good thing to have a bee in your bonnet all month through,
though. You will likely get more out of life once you can

 You
could waste time this month on something that you know is
flimsy and yet seems irresistible. Be careful as you may later
wonder what on earth you were thinking! A more productive
angle will be to make time to sort through any kind of accumulation

 There
is a chance that you will get yourself in knots this month
if you do not stick to one path. Nonetheless, a decision may
need to be made soon, which will alter the shape of things
to come, perhaps in quite unexpected ways. This is not something
to fear; it is something to embrace. A breath of fresh air
is sometimes what is needed.

 It
is just as well that Libra is such a strong sign, because
you could have one or two contenders around you this month.
Whether someone wants your job, your looks, your lifestyle
or simply just your attention, your challenge is still to
figure out what your own wants and needs are. You may be kind
by nature, but you are no pushover!

 If
any sign can square up to and frighten off demons it is Scorpio!
Any beasties that want to rain on your parade this month don’t
stand much chance of survival. Just resolve to hold onto your
determined attitude, to ensure you can rise above any challenges.
Anger can be a fuel for strength at times; but make sure you
point it in the right direction!

 Faith,
hope and charity are all Sagittarian words, but you need to
focus more on the first two this month. Or at least realise
that sometimes charity has to begin at home. You may be the
one who can usually be relied upon to lift the spirits of
others, but would do well now to communicate if you are the
one who needs more cheer.

CAPRICORN (December 23rd - January 20th)
 There
is no point in pretending that you are happy with a situation
that is less than perfect. However, the way to finding true
peace is to stop demanding perfection, both from yourself
and others. Some situations just are messy and inconvenient.
Try and fight against this and you could end up with a right,
royal battle on your hands. Why not resolve to just live and
let live?

AQUARIUS (January 21st - February 19th)
 You
could charm the birds from the trees if it served any good
purpose. As it is you may be happy enough to get along with
people you thought you might not gel with. You could also
make one or two new friends. You may, however, need to draw
the line about the extent of your involvement in an activity
that already stretches you. Remember, it’s ok to say
no!

 A
financial issue needs careful handling, but don’t be
afraid to square up to anyone who is not acting in an above-board
manner. First of all, however, be sure to check that all is
in order in your own house. Not that you will have intended
doing anything dishonest, of course. It is however possible
that something has been overlooked and now needs attention.
