How Is It Relevant?
Business has been a major research area for astrologers in recent years. There is now a far better understanding of the relationship between planetary movements and the expansion or contraction of companies, as well as global finance and the stock market.
There have been 3 key discoveries.
Firstly, astrologers have observed predictable links between the start date/time of a business and its subsequent success or failure. In other words businesses appear to have ongoing horoscopes in the same way that people do. For example, if a business is founded at an astrologically progressive time it tends to fare better than one started when the planets indicate disruption or stress.
This can mean that a simple move such as renaming a business and restarting it at an appropriate date/time may give it a new lease of life.
Secondly, astrologers have detected links between planetary cycles and business. For example, it has been widely observed that movements of the planet Mercury have parallels in stocks and shares. Downturns often coincide with retrogrades in particular.
The planet Saturn, which has a 29 year cycle, has been seen to have profound effects on businesses. This 29 year cycle subdivides into 4 quarters of 7¼ years. Businesses often flounder as they approach the end of these quarter cycles, i.e. in the 6th and 7th year, the 13th and 14th year and so on. An understanding of these phases can be used to determine when to expand and when to hold back or contract.
The planet Uranus, which has an 84 year cycle, has been seen to coincide with major, global upheavals. I have been warning that a severe global recession has been on the horizon for some years because the planets Saturn and Uranus are synchronising in ways that predict dramatic endings and new beginnings.
Thirdly, the mix of people running a business will determine its ‘character’. It stands to reason that if several people form a business partnership and none of them are enterprising and highly motivated, the business will probably not compete well with more aggressive competition. An analysis of the birth charts of key individuals will determine the strengths and weaknesses of a business. It can also tell you whether bringing in additional people may help and, if so, what type to look for.
Similarly, if you are recruiting it is wise to have possible incumbents checked out astrologically. As all employers know, what you see at an interview may be very different from the person who ends up working for you. A wrong recruitment choice can cost many thousands of pounds and disrupt a business badly. A good decision can be worth its weight in gold.
