The Wheel of Life

The Wheel of life

Sometimes we get a dissatisfied feeling in life, it may be that we have good health, a great job, we are in a loving relationship, have family and friends and yet still there feels like something is missing. These types of feelings are really difficult to put your figure on, you’re not quite sure what is wrong and feel guilty for picking apart what seems like an ideal life and yet you can’t quite shake the feeling.

A psychic reading can be great place to start to see if you are on the right pathway…

But, before you phone for a reading you could try a ‘Life Coaching’ exercise, so you know what areas of your life you need guidance with.

The Wheel of Life has its origins in Buddhism, but often versions are used today to find perspectives in one’s life. It is an excellent tool that any of us can quickly do to find the current position of our lives and establish where things might be off kilter.

The Wheel normally has 10 rings decreasing in size from the outer edge to the inner point. The most outer ring denotes the aspects of your life that you are most satisfied with. The inner most ring (number 1), denotes the aspects of your life you are most dissatisfied with.

Normally the circle as a whole is broken down into 8 sections, each representing an area of our lives. You can mark the sections as appropriate to your life – here are some ideas: Confidence, Family, Career, Friends, Health, Relationships, Money and Fun.

When you carry out the exercise – do not think too hard or long about it, go with your gut instinct (it is normally right). For each section, plot a mark between 1 and 10 depending on how happy/unhappy you are with this area of your life.

At the end of the exercise you should be able to see which areas of your life you are happy with and which areas need some attention. It may also show you that some areas of your life get a lot of attention – such as your job and money, but this may leave you with unbalanced lifestyle, perhaps with little time for family and fun!

Now armed with this information a call to one of our psychic readers should prove more fruitful, you will know which areas of your life are causing you concern and you can start to look at what changes you should make to get a better life balance.

It can be a good idea to repeat the exercise at regular intervals. That way you can mark the progress you are making at bringing your life in to a more harmonious balance. Often when you improve just one area of your life, you will notice a knock on effect in other areas.

I’ll leave you with this thought: “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.” Tony Robbins
