Aries
It’s a month of two halves with Mars going from Gemini to Cancer midmonth, signalling time to turn inwards and concentrate more on home and/or family matters. Or even just a chance to rest and recuperate from a hectic social scene! Certain projects get more airtime, but may need rethinking from an initial idea. Creativity brings much within reach!
Taurus
It seems you’re on everyone’s A-list when it comes to social options soon, so be ready to count the invites! Limited resources and/or your own preferences may mean turning a few down. You may also value free time. Something that looks like a possible threat or disappointment might turn out just fine, so do your best to relax!
Gemini
Life has a decidedly upbeat tempo with Mercury moving through three different zodiac signs this month. The elements of Water, Fire and Earth are involved, suggesting emotional lows are quickly evaporated as brighter, happier events unfold. Mercury in practical Virgo suggests help is around for clearing up after all the partying! So be ready to let your hair down.
Cancer
Being true to yourself remains important, possibly even more so with an eclipsed Sun in nearby Leo. Others may not realise how important a certain issue or project is, so it’s up to you to press for it or make more time for it. Allow extra space towards August 28th’s lunar eclipse in fellow Water sign Pisces, calling for peace.
Leo
You can move to greater heights with the creative focus of the Sun in Leo. But don’t be surprised if someone else surpasses you; a eclipse on August 12th highlights extra competition, and/or maybe signals a need to step back temporarily. The reasons will become clearer gradually, possibly not until after a second (lunar) eclipse in Pisces on the 28th.
Virgo
You could need patience with yourself and others for a few weeks into August, whilst so much focus remains on your solar neighbouring sign of Leo. It seems that either a project is not fully ready to fly just yet, or you need to allow time for enough energy and other resources to build. From the 23rd you are unstoppable!
Libra
Venus’s move into Libra on August 6th opens the door to the good times. Many things could go your way. But maybe the biggest gain is in improvements on the relationships front. Outer planet connections towards mid-month suggest there’s still some work to be done. But it should be easier to make clear decisions and identify your true interests.
Scorpio
You may need additional resources to handle some of the deeper issues emerging now, but this process is all to the good as it marks a major transition overall. A mutual support network should help you across any cracks appearing around mid-month. Opposition from Pluto to Mercury in Leo around the 12th advises wise tactics to avoid any full-on confrontation.
Sagittarius
Whenever planets inhabit fellow fire signs – true of the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter at various points this month – you can bank on things generally going more in your favour. Mercury joins the fray around the 9th while the Sun is there until the 23rd. So make the most of the first three weeks to push ahead with plans and deals.
Capricorn
Whilst others may be rushing for results, and making mistakes en route, you may sense the greater value in a gradual process. The first fortnight or so of August brings opportunities to tap into creative energy and benefit from conversations developing a new flow. Conversations and connections flow well in mid-month but could gradually need more gentle navigation.
Pisces
Neptune’s retrograde path connects with more nostalgic moments, but may also uncover uncomfortable information or thoughts about the real truth of a situation. Corroborating what you come across may not be simple. The main task appears to be bringing details together in a pattern that feels logical and coherent.
